iPhone 5 Will Feel Obsolete if iPhone 5S Rumors are True

I am an iPhone 5 owner and if the rumors about the iPhone 5S are true, I am pretty tempted to get an iPhone 5S despite my contract is not up yet. The iPhone 5S will mostly look the same as the iPhone 5, but the rumored fingerprint sensor, NFC and 12MP camera will be dramatic improvements. The new IGZO screen and assumed better performance are enough to want it and drop my iPhone 5. The fingerprint sensor alone will change the way we use the iPhone. Right now I am not protecting my iPhone with an access code. I am too lazy, but I really would like to have this added security.

Accessing the iPhone 5S via fingerprint recognition would change that. Of course it would need to be fast and accurate. Let's hope Apple gets that right. Update: Ideally the fingerprint sensor is in the display as this new Apple patent describes.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 5S in September. The news from the Asian supply chain is already saying that the iPhone 5S is in production. Along the iPhone 5S we are also expecting the Plastic iPhone to arrive.
