Though 'World War Z' is the top box office film in Brad Pitt's career, yet it is far behind in the international box office rankings of all times. It occupies 112th position on all-time Box Office international chart. It is on 140th position on US charts.
'World War Z' is the most expensive zombie movie of all time that cost almost $200 million (£129 million). But it earns $502.3 million globally till now, according to Huffington Post. This amount is not too much for a 3D movie. Other 3D hits like 'Avatar' had earned $2.7 billion at the worldwide box office. But this is the career high amount for Brad Pitt.
His previous hits include 'Troy' that earned $497.4 million globally, 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' grossed $478.2 million and 'Ocean's Eleven' earned $450.7 million. This is also his first film that earns more than half billion amount. We wish best of luck to Brad Pitt for his future movies.
