Researchers found that among 10,000 residential premises in the United States, Roku was the more used facility than its major opposing force, Apple TV. It is in fact America’s #1 streaming set top box. The number of homes utilizing this contraption has increased by twofold from 2011. Today over 14% of households are into this piece of sophisticated technology. Four years from now this figure will again double. The items that are included among the range of goods are: smart TVs, gaming devices and Blu-ray players besides set top boxes. The most favored status goes to set top boxes though.

Those who are enthusiastic about media streaming services know instinctively that Roku is the tool of the times. The market for this device is bullish alright. Apple TV has been on the rise in recent years. Yet it can’t hold a candle to Roku.
