Tesla Model S vehicle outsells Porsche and other luxury cars in California during second quarter of this year. Other automobile companies having lesser vehicle registration market share than Tesla include Jaguar, Mitsubishi, Volvo, FIAT, Land Rover, Buick and Lincoln. Tesla Model S is also at 3rd place in Luxury and Sports car category after Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5-Series.
Tesla has now become a biggest threat for all automobile firms. It is becoming popular by every passing day. Tesla Model S electric car now outsells many big names in California. According to a recent report by California New Car Dealers Association (CNCDA), Tesla Model S has become the 3rd most selling luxury car with 4,714 registrations during first 6 months of this year.

Previous top rankers like Audi A6 and the Lexus GS got only 1,619 and 2,298 vehicle registrations respectively. But it still can’t beat Mercedes and BMW. Mercedes E-Class tops with 6,582 vehicle registrations followed by BMW 5-Series with 6,077 registered vehicles.
Tesla now hold 0.6% market share for vehicle registrations in California. Other brands that have lesser share than Tesla include Porsche, Land Rover, Buick, and FIAT all holding 0.5% California vehicle registration market share. Volvo holds 0.4% shares. Mitsubishi and Lincoln hold only 0.3% while Jaguar holds only 0.1% representation.
