Google's official Chromecast app for iOS devices is just launched today. A cross-platform Chromecast support is now available. Google has promised to launch an iOS app in August when the Android app for Chromecast was launched. Tech giant has fulfilled its promise today.

Chromecast iOS app will allow iOS users to easily set up and manage Chromecast TV device on their iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. iOS users can easily change their device settings like device name, Wi-Fi password, etc. using this app. It will also allow users to easily switch between many Chromecast devices in cross-platform environment. 

The Google Chromecast is a $35 dongle that will allow users to stream content online by plugging into HDTV via an HDMI port. It is a remoteless device that can be easily controlled by tablet, PC and any smartphone now. Users can stream their favorite content from YouTube, Google Play Movies and Google Play Music, Chrome and Netflix directly to their TVs via $35 Chromecast dongle.
