A picture of the Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch has been surreptitiously leaked to public ahead of its launch at IFA 2013. It appears to be an electronically cool object of envy and desire indeed though the final version to reach the market will be even better.
A leaked photograph of the Samsung Galaxy Gear may be very impressive but it is not what will be the final launch product. The device is merely a prototype and thus lacks several features that will form vital components in the final form that hits the market. Thus Samsung holds a few aces up its sleeves. The rather unwieldy and chunky specimen shown being worn on a wrist was nothing close to what the rumor mill says will appear on the markets as the completed contraption.
Standard Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) is a regular feature and the device can operate on a parallel level with a smart phone or tablet. And while the battery is said to last for 10 hours the new expectations are for a whole day and night. Samsung will be launching its smart watches in the Big Apple (New York) and Berlin. It will be quite a series of extravagant events.
Apple and Pebble are two rivals which will be looking from afar. Meanwhile, the OLED screen, Dual-Core ExynosProcessor and GPU will make the parts function with particular perfection. Wear while the world watches on in burning jealousy!
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
