Spotify Connect wirelessly streams music to your speakers

Simple, seamless, and hassle-free. That is what Spotify has to say about its latest creation called Spotify Connect. Announced today, Spotify Connect lets users wirelessly play their favorite songs on external speakers in a touch of a button.

To make that possible, Spotify partnered with some of the best audio manufacturers in the world including Argon, Bang & Olufsen, Denon, Marantz, Philips, Pioneer, Revo, Teufel, and Yamaha. Although the exact name of the products were not named, Spotify says that users will only need to look out for the Spotify Connect logo for compatability.

Spotify Connect will be available via OTA update to all Spotify Premium subscribers. It will be launching first on iOS, followed by Android and the desktop i the coming months.
