The iPhone 5S is rumored to have a fingerprint scanner. Now for the first time a home button component leaked that has a fingerprint sensor on it.
The iPhone 5S has been rumored for a while to have a fingerprint scanner of some sort. Most rumors say that the sensor would be integrated in the home button. Now an alleged iPhone 5S home button component leaked that seems to confirm that.
French site NowWhereElse published photos of the new component that clearly shows major differences to the iPhone 5 home button component. These difference point towards the addition of a fingerprint sensor.
The wait for the new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will be over soon. Apple will reveal the new 2013 iPhones next week on September 10th. This is confirmed as Apple sent out media invites for the event yesterday.
