Apple has been linked with the upper tier fashion brands in an exchange of products or services that benefits both immensely. But this time around it is a match made in heaven. Burberry will get access to the iPhone 5S before its launch date in order to snap photographs and video clips of its fashion show.
The CCO of Burberry, Christopher Bailey spoke of how the cooperative effort was a token of appreciation for the design and craftsmanship philosophy that the two companies shared so intimately. He said, “This collaboration celebrates our relationship and shared foundation in design and craftsmanship. We have a mutual passion for creating beautiful products and unlocking emotive experiences through technology, which has made it intensely exciting to explore the capabilities of iPhone 5s. We’re inspired by what this could mean for the future as we continue to explore the merging of physical and digital experiences.”
Apple’s electronic devices have been utilized to make everything from musical clips to docudramas and home videos. It comes as no surprise that Burberry is cashing in on the publicity and advertising value of using the iPhone 5S.
The iPhone 5S meanwhile is the most advanced device of its kind to issue from the creative factories of Apple. Apple is teaming up with Burberry for reasons having to do with a promotional and preview teaser campaign. The symbiosis between the two may be short-lived but it will last long enough to act like a booster shot for both.
Apple’s rear-facing iSight camera on the iPhone 5S will catch emotionally charged moments via its beautiful technological construction. It has an 8 megapixel resolution and wide aperture. Furthermore, an LED flash unit termed the “True Tone” features on the smart phone. Meanwhile, Burberry’s thrilling runway show will start on the 16th of September.
