Before March 2013, this cap is set to 20MB. But Apple has raised this limit by more than 50% in March. Limit was then set to 50MB. But now, just after 6 months, Apple has again raised the limit. Users can now download over-the-air App Store and iTunes content upto 100MB in size.
The 100MB data download cap is a good gift by Apple along with the launch of iOS 7 and iTunes 11.1. Now developers can easily employ larger media files of videos, books, and music.
