iPhone 5S online sales have kicked off today worldwide and its supply looks to get short especially for the gold model. As Apple Stores in China, Australia, France, Germany, and the U.K are now showing extended shipment time.
Today is September 20th, the official sale day for Apple's new iPhone 5S model. Many Apple Stores have started the online sales of the iPhone 5S in different countries according to their local time. But it seems that iPhone 5S supply will be shortened as the shipment dates are extended in many Asian and European countries and in Australia too. It looks like that iPhone 5S will be in limited supply all around the world.
The online Apple Stores in France, Germany, Australia, China and US too are now showing that all iPhone 5S models and sizes will be available to ship in 7-10 business days. While the 64GB gold color variant for iPhone 5S is immediately unavailable in both Australia and China.
But Apple Store in UK displays that iPhone 5S grey and black models will be shipped within 7-10 business days while gold iPhone 5S will be dispatched in October. Also the online Apple Stores in Hong Kong and Singapore also showing October shipment time for all colors and capacities of iPhone 5S.
This situation clearly depicts that iPhone 5S supply will be limited for both in-store and online sale. US will also see this short supply issue as shipment date already extends on US Apple Store. According to 9to5Mac, Apple lovers "have already begun camping out at Apple Stores across the country in the hopes of obtaining an iPhone 5S on launch day."
