$400 Million Powerball Winner Prefers Anonymity

The winner of the $400 million jackpot in the Powerball Lottery has preferred to remain anonymous. Powerball winner hails from Columbia, South Carolina and has chosen anonymity instead of the fame of having his name splashed across newspapers around the nation.

The brand new Powerball lottery-made millionaire who won a whopping $400 refused to air his luck in public. Powerball winner preferred to remain unnamed. And his luck has worked like magic. This was the second time he had bought a Powerball ticket. He had just by chance bought the tickets at a gas station.

His spouse had requested Powerball winner to but some hot dog buns for her from the fuel refill store. When he found out that there were no hot dog buns, he decided to spend $20 on Powerball tickets. The lucky combination that won the coveted prize amount was: 7, 10, 22, 32, 35 and Powerball 19 respectively.

Even the fact whether this soft-spoken man had chosen a lump sum amount or an annuity for nearly 30 years was not mentioned. It was indeed a lucky chance that had won this individual the jackpot. We can call it pure serendipity.

The chances were 1 in 175 million which once again says a lot for the good fate of the anonymous winner. The Powerball Lottery takes place in the majority of the states of the US. The life makeover that occurs by winning this mega-raffle is incredible indeed. Maybe it is the distress that accompanies the good stress of winning such a colossal amount that forced this man to remain an unknown figure.
