Twitter Starts @Magicrecs Notifications with Recommended Accounts and Tweets

Twitter's Android and iOS apps start sending Notifications with recommended tweets and accounts. This will be based on its @magicrecs algorithm.

Individualized advice is mandatory on Twitter’s new scheme for its user base. Seeking inspiration from the well-established @magicrecs experiment, Twitter has decided to survey the people who its users follow in order to find out who they follow in return. The re-tweeting phenomenon is being looked into too. The whole thing is aimed at recommending which accounts are meant to be followed.

It’ll be a precise and problem-free process. Via this methodical mechanism, @magicrecs gets integrated and incorporated into the structure of Twitter. The experimental @magicrecs sent messages that told account holders which people and information were worthy of notice. The service can be activated or shut down depending entirely on the user’s discretion. This kind of activity is precisely what is needed for Twitter to continue to function in a progressive manner.

As Twitter prepares for its IPO, it will have to declare its annual figures. This is why the @magicrecs experiment is of the essence. Since the seven odd years Twitter’s been in existence, the basic fact exists that you get out of it what you put in. Quality beats quantity every time on Twitter.

@Magicrecs is a favorite among journalists and other information freaks. The news it provides are the latest and the best. That is why it is so suitable for bolstering the push notifications that Twitter will send out to its valued user base. Twitter will continue to serve as a more serious version of Facebook. It will connect you to any famous celebrity or dignitary you may want to get in touch with within seconds.
