Google Play Books Hit Eight New Asian Countries and New Zealand

Google has now launched its Play Books in New Zealand and other 8 countries across Asia. Google Play Books are now available in the Asian countries of Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam. New Zealand is the only non-Asian country that is now also listed in international availability of Play Books.

Google has already make available Play Books into nine European countries in July. And now in September, 9 more countries are added in the availability list. Though the process of launching the world's largest selection of online books is slow due to each country's legal concerns and other roadblocks, yet Google wants to make available Play Books to all Android users across the world.
