Google Search Celebrates 15 Years with New Algorithm, Knowledge Graph and Mobile Updates

Google Search Engine is celebrating its 15th anniversary. Additions to its search capabilities include smarter page rank algorithms, new knowledge graph comparisons and novel mobile facilities.

Some may think that Google values its past, but in fact it is totally geared towards the future. That is why celebrations at its 15th anniversary were not just about cutting giant cakes and blowing many candles. Rather, the Google team invited the media to its headquarters and gave them a demo of what is to come. SVP of Search, Amit Singhal uncovered a whole array of features for Search.

Tablet and mobile owners are to get access to a card system UI that has spread throughout the services available on Google. There is the Knowledge Graph, which answers all your difficult questions with speed and accuracy. The search process is made easier for the user by producing results before the question has even registered.

In order to stay on a par with Android, Google is also launching a newly designed version of its iOS search app. It’ll put the user base in touch with Google Now. They will get reminders too. The latest search engine technology has been called Hummingbird and it is a key feature of Google.

After 15 years of keeping the world informed, Google looks forward to the next 15 with equal enthusiasm, energy and enterprise. It remains the big daddy of search engines and is all about “Thinking Big”.  So long as people feed it the right questions it will keep finding the right answers to their queries.
