Google Hangouts 1.3 to Get Text Messaging and Video Sharing Services

The Google Hangouts application may be getting several supportive services soon. These include within their purview, communication facilities such as textual and pictorial messaging. Hangouts used to be originally employed for Google+ but now SMS and MMS could get incorporated into its structural subtext. While the gentleman’s promise made by Google holds, the real question on everyone’s mind is the timing and presentation of this exciting service

Furthermore, what is not clear is whether the pre-existing form of text messaging will be scrapped or modified. There are a lot of loose ends that need to be resolved before the entire facility gets going in its tracks.

Text messages are a fast and convenient method of communicating around the world. They are fairly simple to use and don’t require an account. All you really need is a phone number and you are good to go.

However, this facility is being challenged by newcomers on the scene. Skype, Facebook, Viber and WhatsApp are the most prominent of the lot. What Google Hangouts will enable is a one-spot text messaging turf. The facility has been long in the making. And now it is all set to become a living reality. Integration is the name of the game. And Google is not about to back down from a challenge. What it conceives, it achieves as well.
