Apple is way ahead of the others in the game of smart phone delivery. It's next year's iPhone 6 will most probably have a 4.8 inch display screen. At least, that is what the experts’ prognostications are for the new model which will arrive on the scene in 2014.

Those who want Apple to “Think Big” are about to have their dreams become a reality. The iPhone 6 is slated to have a bigger display screen. The dimensions have been taken a notch up from the usual 4 inches to 4.8 inches. This action, which is still a speculation by the tech pundits, will fulfill the wishes of the crowd that believes that bigger is better.

This upsizing is part of a trend that has already begun in the smart phones around the world. If Apple takes this tentative decision, it could boost its sales of the 85 million future iPhones by five to ten million. And this would be a decided advantage for the high tech giant.

Meanwhile, the current sale of new iPhones has been favorable to Apple. iPhone 5S sales hit record numbers. Yet its iPhone 5C, which is the cheaper model for the masses, has not been selling quite up to the high expectations of the company. That is why the further manufacture of the iPhone 5C has been stymied.

The numbers of the low-priced smart phone have been almost cut by a half. If Apple can read the mind of its consumers it will increase the size of the display screen on its iPhone 6. But that still lies in the future.
