iPad Rumors End October 22

We are all waiting for the next Apple media event to announce the new iPads. AllThingsD reports that people familiar with Apple's plans told them that Apple will hold the iPad centric media event on October 22. This is in about two weeks. The October 22 date was called out by Current Editorials already eary September.

It is pretty clear what Apple will reveal on October 22. The new iPad 5 an the iPad mini 2. The iPad 5 is expected to be thinner, faster and possibly has the iPhone 5S fingerprint scanner. The design will be more in line with the iPad mini.

The iPad mini 2 is less clear. It could even be delayed. It would be nice if Apple will introduce a Retina display on the iPad mini 2, but we have no solid information on that.

Apple is likely also showing off new iPods at the event. If there is a legendary one last thing reveal remains to seen. It won't be an iWatch.
