Massive Walmart Black Friday 2013 Ads Hitting NFL Games on Thanksgiving Day

Walmart is for the first time pushing full force the Walmart Black Friday sale during the NFL game coverage on Thanksgiving Day. Why Walmart did not do that in the past years is actually suprising. Now that the Walmart Black Friday sale already starts at 8pm on Thanksgiving Day, it makes a lot of sense to advertise Black Friday deals heavily on TV during the day. And as most Americans watch Football Games, the game coverage is the most effective advertising spot.

AdAge quotes the Walmart Chief Marketing Officer Stephen Quinn saying: ""We're doing more with the NFL around Black Friday than we've ever done."

Looks like Walmart wants to top last year's Black Friday. Walmart has the most anticipated Black Friday Ad. We expect Walmart again to release the ad digitally two weeks before Black Friday. As reported we expect the Walmart Black Friday 2013 Ad on November 14.

This year Black Friday is rather late falling on November 29th, 2013. Last year, Black Friday was on November 23rd. Retailers will have four full weeks to please you with special Black Friday 2013 sales until the culmination of the actual Black Friday and the encore on Cyber Monday 2013 (December 2nd).

According to Black Friday Countdown there are 44 days until Black Friday 2013. We will again provide full analysis and guidance of Black Friday Ads and Deals in our Black Friday Hub.
