Rumors are indicating that tech giant Samsung is currently working on their future devices. Those devices are rumored to feature metal bodies and curved displays and some news reports suggest that these new features might go to a whole new series of Samsung Galaxy flagship devices.
A Korean news website ET News says that Samsung is going to usher in their Galaxy F series to serve as a third line of premium smart phones. Currently, Samsung is running the market with their smartphones of the Galaxy S series, which caters to their general high-end demographic and their Galaxy Note series phablet devices cater to the lovers of super sized displays.
Some website has been publishing rumors about a metal design for the Samsung Galaxy S5 device, which is expected to be launched in early 2014. These recent reports have suggested that Samsung is currently shopping for metal suppliers for a special device to be released approximately in the second quarter of 2014, which points to the Galaxy S5 release. However, there might be a chance that this metal device is for a Samsung Galaxy F series device.
Some of the recent reports indicate that the Samsung Galaxy F line might become Samsung’s new highest-end device, which focuses on a superior and sleek design. The Samsung Galaxy S series might then become a more mainstream device; still featuring a cheap plastic exterior. But Samsung would still continue to focus on introducing more powerful software and features to the Samsung market.
Samsung has recently been working on some flexible display technology for the time being (through the Galaxy Round), and many tech experts believe that this curved display smartphone is going to be Samsung’s initial market test. But there is still no word on whether this curved-display Samsung device and the anticipated Galaxy F series are connected.
