Apple is not done with its Apple TV hardware. It seems that it still needs some finishing touches before it can be presented before the public. Hence revamped Apple TV is reportedly not coming at the new iPad event tomorrow.
Some of the enthusiasm regarding an Apple TVupdate has been doused. The changes have not been made yet and only after a certain time span will the final product get displayed. The procrastination means that the puck-like Apple TV device won’t get showcased at the October 22nd event that is looming ahead.
MG Siegler wrote on ParisLemon, "While I still haven’t heard anything concrete, the most recent whispers I have heard is that the Apple TV project has been delayed a bit."
This of course has a dampening effect on the excitement of the tons of fans Apple has. But it can’t be helped. While a device with a minor change may be in the works, a completely revamped gadget is definitely going to take time. One thing which is for sure is that it won’t be making an appearance soon.
Apple keeps its enthusiasts informed regarding any changes to its products. And as usual the longer you keep them guessing, the more the build-up of suspense that follows. It all ends in an anti-climax of wonderment at the classic seamless technology that emerges from the dream factory that is Apple.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
