Apple is not done with its Apple TV hardware. It seems that it still needs some finishing touches before it can be presented before the public. Hence revamped Apple TV is reportedly not coming at the new iPad event tomorrow.
Some of the enthusiasm regarding an Apple TV update has been doused. The changes have not been made yet and only after a certain time span will the final product get displayed. The procrastination means that the puck-like Apple TV device won’t get showcased at the October 22nd event that is looming ahead.
MG Siegler wrote on ParisLemon, "While I still haven’t heard anything concrete, the most recent whispers I have heard is that the Apple TV project has been delayed a bit."
This of course has a dampening effect on the excitement of the tons of fans Apple has. But it can’t be helped. While a device with a minor change may be in the works, a completely revamped gadget is definitely going to take time. One thing which is for sure is that it won’t be making an appearance soon.
Apple keeps its enthusiasts informed regarding any changes to its products. And as usual the longer you keep them guessing, the more the build-up of suspense that follows. It all ends in an anti-climax of wonderment at the classic seamless technology that emerges from the dream factory that is Apple.
Furthermore, Apple is testing its Xbox Kinect motion control facility for television. At the event slated for October 22nd, Apple is to release its 5th generation iPad and 2nd generation iPad mini. Other goodies from Apple include OS X Mavericks, Mac Pro and Retina MacBook Pro. Especially OS X Mavericks whose GM (Golden Master) version silently upgrades by Apple. The new version called 13A603 is now available.
