"Black," "Jeremy," "Animal," and "Even Flow." These were just a few of the songs that the legendary grunge band, Pearl Jam, popularized. The band, led by iconic frontman Eddie Vedder, has recently released its 10th studio album entitled "Lightning Bolt" last week.
The album was well-received by die-hard Pearl Jam fans, catapulting the album to the number one spot at the Billboard 200 chart with over 166,000 copies sold in its first week. Pearl Jam isn't a stranger to the Billboard 200, which ranks the top 200 highest selling albums in the U.S.
The band's previous album, "Backspacer," also topped the Billboard 200 in 2009, and so is "Code" in 1996, "Vitalogy" in 1994, and "Vs." in 1994. The Seattle-based band also scored four number two-peaking albums in the past.
