The famous french fires of McDonald's is going to divorce its partner Heinz ketchup to get a new one. McDonald's Corp. is planing to end its 40 years partnership with H.J. Heinz Co. after its CEO change.

A bad news for the Heinz ketchup lovers. McDonald's will probably not serve heir favorite Heinz ketchup along with french fries. As the world's biggest fast-food chain is planning to end its partnership with Heinz. So its ketchup will be dropped and new ketchup will be served with McDonald's famous french fries.

The major reason behind this Heinz ketchup dropping decision is the change of CEO at H.J. Heinz Co. Heinz new head, Bernardo Hees, is the ex-CEO of hamburger rival Burger King Worldwide Inc. According to Reuters, "As a result of recent management changes at Heinz, we have decided to transition our business to other suppliers over time. We have spoken to Heinz and plan to work together to ensure a smooth and orderly transition," McDonald's said in a statement.

But this change of ketchup will not largely affect McDonald's United States branches as the fast food provider is only serving Heinz ketchup in two local markets - Pittsburgh and Minneapolis. However the Heinz has declined to comment on the situation. The company spokesman Michael Mullen said, "As a matter of policy, Heinz does not comment on relationships with customers."
