OfficeMax joins other major retailer in opening their stores already at 8pm on Thanksgiving Day for their Black Friday sale.

Office supply chain OfficeMax announced today that most of their stores will open at 8pm on Thanksgiving Day for the OfficeMax Black Friday 2013 sale. OfficeMax joins other big retailers like Macy's and Walmart to open on Thanksgiving Day.

The retailer is offering significant Black Friday savings online at OfficeMax.com starting at 12:01 a.m. EST Thanksgiving morning to deliver holiday savings to customers earlier than ever. The OfficeMax Black Friday shopping event will take place for three days from Thursday, Nov. 28 – Saturday Nov. 30 in stores and at OfficeMax.com, featuring big savings on must-have holiday gifts, including the latest in mobile technology and accessories. 

For consumers that means that they can already shop most online Black Friday 2013 Sales in the early morning hours of Thanksgiving Day. They also can then venture out into the night to shop in stores starting at 8pm.

It looks like the Staples Black Friday 2013 sale starts at 9pm on Thanksgiving Day according to a post on SlickDeals

This year Black Friday is rather late falling on November 29th, 2013. Last year, Black Friday was on November 23rd. Retailers will have four full weeks to please you with special Black Friday 2013 sales until the culmination of the actual Black Friday and the encore on Cyber Monday 2013 (December 2nd).
