An update of the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 firmware has had a salutary effect on the device’s batteries. The increased battery life is a welcome sign that the firmware revamping has really helped.

After the Surface Pro 2 came on the scene, Microsoft introduced a firmware renewal that had a good effect on the gadget. The Wi-Fi was able to function at a low power state thanks to this arrangement. It is a singular transformation that has really made a lot of things easier.

The batteries were tested and the results spoke for themselves. The gadget has gotten quicker than usual. It seems that the Surface Pro 2 is an improvement on the Surface 2. The lack of longer battery life in the latter was a hindrance that was becoming an annoyance for many. The goal was to keep the gizmo running constantly for 8 hours. Now the 25% surplus time has really helped the user base.

The change has definitely paid off well. Besides the extended battery life, the speedier model is a boost to the egos of those who employ it on a daily basis. The original tragedy was when the Surface 2 didn’t get an update on its firmware. This ended up having nil impact on the batteries.

The reasons for this lack of firmware updating included the sensors on the earlier device. Also of significance were the high res display unit and active digitizer which created hurdles in the way of change. But now that the deed is done, it will be smooth sailing all the way.
