First off, I hate daylight saving. It is an antiquated concept that every time messes up the sleeping schedule of my kids. It creates so much confusion around the world that is really notworth it anymore as we have plenty of energy or whatever reason politicians use to argue that we still need this. In Europe the clocks already changed last weekend. The United States are following this weekend in the night from Saturday to Sunday. Alone this rolling schedule of change is creating a big mess for people workingwith overseas companies.
The official time to switch is at 2am Sunday morning.
According to Wikipedia a guy named George Vernon Hudson came up with the idea in 1895. Germany and the Austria implemented it starting 1916. It is time to get rid of Daylight Saving Time. There is no energy saving benefit anymore. It just messes with our sleep patterns and causes time zone mayhem.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
