GameStop is thinking big for this Sunday. To mark the November 15th launch of Sony's new PlayStation 4 gaming console, GameStop is hosting pre-launch PS4 events on Sunday, November 10 all across United States. The world’s largest multichannel retailer of video games will allow customers to trade-in their pre-owned hardware, software or consumer electronic in these events. Customers can use the trade-in value to pay-off ealry their pre-ordered PlayStation 4 consoles. and they can also buy the games and/or accessories available at these events. But limitations are there.
Darron Nielsen, senior merchant of GameStop, said, "Utilizing GameStop’s buy-sell-trade model- our customers will receive the most value for their current generation consoles and games, something no other retailer is offering. This allows consumers the ability to purchase a PS4 at a more affordable price, making it more accessible for gaming fans."
But a special trade-in offer is above all others. This special GameStop hardware trade-in offer will allow customers to triple their bonus credit on trade in of pre-owned hardware. It means that customers will get 90 percent extra in-store credit along with their system’s original value. This is a part of the one-day event celebration. But limitations are applied on this offer. This in-store credit can only be used toward paying off pre-ordered PS4 console. All necessary components for trade must be present in pre-owned hardware. In-store credit can not be used for cash trades. All trade items must be in full working condition to receive full trade value.
Furthermore, each GameStop store will do other activities at their locations to increase the excitement of customers for the November 15th PS4 launch event. Stores will give its customers a chance to receive giveaway items and do other fun activities and refreshments. The most exciting thing will be the availability of fully-functional PS4 units to play but at selected GameStop stores. It will be a great chance for all PS4 lovers to experience hands-on time with some of their favorite titles.
GameStop will also provide its customers easier and faster opportunity to pick up PS4 consoles on launch day. That is why; it is also opening its stores on the evening of November 14 for the midnight release of the PS4. But only eligible GameStop stores will remain open. At 12:01a.m on November 15, the PS4 will go on sale for all customers who pre-ordered the console.
