New rumor report from Bloomberg says that Apple works on a curved iPhone. Is it the iPhone 6?
Now that the iPhone 5S is already old news, the Apple rumor mill turns to the iPhone 6. Bloomberg has just released an report that says that Apple is developing a new iPhone with a bigger screen that is curved. The new iPhone 6 would also have enhanced sensors that can detect different levels of pressure. Apple is supposed to release two iPhone models in the second half of 2014.
The glass of the iPhone 6 would curve downward to the edges. The screen-size of the new iPhone would be likely as big as 5.5-inch. The new sensors would allow the iPhone to distinguish between light touch and strong touch. Maybe something similar the Samsung Galaxy phone is already doing today. There you can hover the finger over the display and the phone reacts ot gestures.
I am actually still disappointed at Apple not to reveal anything new as promised by Tim Cook. There is no new product category.
