Joan Jett was supposed to perform on the South Dakota float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2013. The problem is not everybody in South Dakota likes this choice because she is a vegan. Now Joan Jett gave in and jumps floats.
A Macy's Parade Spokesman announced before the weekend that they are moving Joan Jett of the South Dakota float. She will perform on another float according to Daily Mail. The Parade just does not want to be involved in any political troubles. It is all just about entertaining people. It has not yet been revealed on which float Joan Jett will perform.
The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is a huge televised event. Each year, more than 3.5 million people in New York and over 50 million people at home watch the Parade.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
