Samsung Introduces Portable Galaxy Grand 2 with 5.25" Display, 1.5 GHz CPU and More

Samsung Electronics has just introduced a portable, compact smartphone Galaxy Grand 2 with 5.25-inch HD display, 1.5 GHz quad core processor, 1.5GB RAM and 8GB internal memory.

Samsung Electronics today introduced its new compact smartphone Galaxy Grand 2 in a portable size with optimal large-screen experience. This is the latest model of the Galaxy Grand series that brings evolution by meaningful upgrades to its predecessor. 

The 5.25-inch screen of Galaxy Grand 2 has 16:9 HD (1280x720) TFT display ratio that is perfect for watching movies, playing games and e-reading. This all new portable smartphone brings users incredible viewing experience without a stylus. Grand 2 is a multitasking smartphone with multiple windows functionality that allows users to run on app in 2 windows simultaneously. Its large screen also maximizes the benefits of multitasking.

It is a dual-SIM smartphone that allows users to switch seamlessly between networks. Other specs of the device includes 1.2GHz quad core processor, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB internal memory that can be extended up to 64GB via a microSD slot, 8MP front camera with  LED Flash and 1.9MP rear end HD shooter. The smartphone dimensions are 146.8 x 75.3 x 8.9 mm. It weighs only 163g. Connectivity options include WiFi and USB 2.0. Galaxy Grand 2 has a long-lasting 2,600mAh battery to bring users up to 10 hours of playback and 17 hours of calls.

Several other smart features are also added in this smartphone. ChatON, S Travel, Sound & Shot, Samsung Hub, S Health, Group Play, S Travel, S Translator, Samsung Link, Story Album are also there including enhanced camera features like Best Face, Best Photo and Continuous Shot. Samsung will launch Galaxy Grand 2 in selective regions in 3 different color options of White, Black and Pink.
