Family Guy Brian Death is Permanent

Brian the dog from the Family Guy died. He got run over by a car in the yesterday's Family Guy episode titled "Life of Brian." The Griffins already got a new dog. Tony Sirico from Sopranos fame (Paulie) is the voice of Vinny.

If you hoped that Brian will come back in the next episode you will be disappointed. According to TMZ, Tony Sirico already voiced sixe Family Guy episodes as the new Family Guy dog.

E! Online has some background on why the producers of Family Guy decided to kill Brian. I think it is just this new trend in TV series to kill off lead characters to keep things fresh. Recent high profile departures happened on popular shows like Person of Interest and Sons of Anarchy.

Fox offers up full episodes of Family Guy online here. If you login with your TV provider login and password you can watch the full episode of Life of Brian now. You can also get the full Life of Brian Episode on iTunes.
