As the year sees a rise in the manufacturing of smaller smartphones, the latest entrant seems to be ASUS, as the company has sent out media invites for an event to be held on December 11, 2013 in Taipei.
December 11: Asus prepares to reveal a mini 4.3 inch PadFone

Speculations are high that the company must be ready to show off the first of 4.3 inch version of Asus PadFone Infinity to the world.
In that case, the event really backs the popping of a new listing at the Global Certificate Forum (GCF) and also what Jerry Shen, the CEO of ASUS had told back in Septemberthis year – that the company is seriously delving into the subject to come up with a smaller version of the hybrid/tablet phone.
However, after the release of Samsung Galaxy S4 mini and HTC One mini, expectations will be high on this PadFone that comes with a 7 inch tablet. Now though nothing much have been revealed about the hybrid phone, the listing says that the phone is only 3G capable and not 4G. Also, reports are unknown on the price and potential dates for sales of the Asus PadFone mini, though these are also the information that the world media will wait to hear.
