Google+ new Auto-awesome feature

The Google+ team has recently added a pair of some new features to their photo and personal image sharing features, and that’s also just in time for this winter. That’s effective immediately; any picture a user uploads to their Google+ profile with snow or the lights, they’ll get an Autoawesome version of those photos.

They are some fairly simple little tweaks, but they are pretty sweet nonetheless. It also appears from some of the photos published online that it does not automatically add or twinkle only the colored lights but rather just a simple flicker to the white spots in the photo.

If anything happens to those photos, these effects just breathe a new life into those ordinary winter and holiday shots that were uploaded. About Twinkle, The Google+ team says: upload a new photo of something that sparkles, which might be like a Christmas tree or it might be a chandelier, and Google+ will gift the user a version of the photo with lights that actually twinkle.

And about Snow, Google+ team says: simply upload a new photo with some snow in it to the Google+, and Google+ will gift a new version with the snow that is actually falling. The users might consider these a Christmas gift to them from the Google!

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
