Sony says that GT6 has over 1200 cars and 120 of those rides are in a Gran Turismo game for the very first time. The vehicles available for players include a huge roaster of historic cars, road cars, and racing cars. The game also has a number of racing circuits from around the world and some circuits that are only available in GT6. The game has a total of 37 tracks and seven of them are all new to the franchise.

The game also features online game play allowing drivers to race against others from around the world. Sony promises that the game will receive regular updates. The updates will add new features more cars, new functionality, and other content.

"2013 has been a banner year for PlayStation 3 with Sony Worldwide Studios delivering some of the highest regarded games on any console," said Asad Qizilbash, senior director of first party games marketing at Sony Computer Entertainment America.
