Angelina Jolie Barred from Flying her Aircraft by the FAA

Yahoo reports actress Angelina Jolie has been barred from flying her private airplane by the FCC. The ban comes after Jolie neglected to get the aircraft registered in time earlier this year. Reports indicate that the airworthiness certificate for the aircraft expired on June 30 of this year.

Jolie's team reportedly sent in the application but the application was received too late. the aircraft Jolie flies is a Cirrus SR-22. The plane is said to be one of the fastest single engine propeller aircraft around.

Jolie received her pilot's license in 2004. Jolie said previously that she decided to get her pilots license when her and her son would go to the airport to eat lunch and watch the planes come and go. She promised him she would be able to fly by his second birthday.
