The Amazon Kindle tablets keep a strong hold in the top 10 best selling tablets on Amazon. Only two tablets have been able to break into the top 10.

Amazon has this year strengthened their Kindle Fire tablet line-up with the introduction of the HDX. This new line helps the Kindle tablets to take over the top 10 best selling tablets on Amazon. Amazon directly confronts the Apple iPad Air with the Kindle HDX. Watch the latest HDX versus iPad Air commercial below. The best selling tablet is the $169 Kindle Fire HD 7-inch 16GB followed by the $229 Kindle Fire HDX 7-inch 16GB. Given that tablets are the number one holiday gift this year by a long shot, Amazon is going to sell a ton of tablets.

The best ranked non-Kindle tablet is the $169 Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch tablet. On #9 a kids tablet has settled in. The $89 LeapFrog LeapPad 2 is the best-selling kids tablet on Amazon.
