Sony exec teases new virtual reality product.
A rumor is making the rounds that Sony might be ready to unveil a new virtual reality headset at CES 2014. The rumor started when an editor from IGN named Scott Lowe tweeted a pic from CES 2011 of a Sony virtual reality headset. The headset had been expected to surface at the Tokyo Game Show 2013, but didn’t show.

In response to Lowe's tweet, Sony's Shuhei Yoshida tweeted, "@ScottLowe We'll see you on news sites when they post a photo of journalists taking photos of a newly announced product at CES 2014." This is clearly a hint that Sony has something new up its sleeves for CES 2014.
It would make a bit of sense with Sony trying to grab all it can of the next gen gaming market for a virtual reality headset compatible with the PS4 to hit CES. This is mostly speculation as Ubergizmo points out. Why would Yoshida bother to comment on this photo if the product wasn’t related?
