A&E’s hit reality TV show Duck Dynasty is on fire these days due to a challenge by Phil petition. After Phil Robertson spoke disparagingly of the LGBT community, he was banned from Duck Dynasty. However, intolerance is a two-way street. A&E has learnt this as it faces the I Stand with Phil petition now.
Phil Robertson was into Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll. He had hit rock bottom when he was miraculously saved by his faith in Jesus Christ as a savior. From that day onward he preached the Christian Way of Life to everyone. However, his comments on gays and lesbians being sinful on A&E’s Duck Dynasty proved quite controversial. He was struck off the list of stars on the show.

Phil said that he was merely stating a fact that men and women should be together. This was the model of marital behavior that was followed by the majority of Americans as well as the rest of the world. And while he did respect those different from him, that didn’t mean he shouldn’t have strong opinions regarding sexuality himself.
The fans of the star came out in flocks and droves to support him. Such was the uproar over Phil’s cancellation from the Duck Dynasty show that Twitter was forced to reinstate the I Stand with Phil petition which it had previously blocked due to a mistake. The Faith Driven Consumer website has stated in clear words that A&E should consider taking Phil Robertson back on Duck Dynasty show otherwise it will be completely boycotted by the moral majority.
Up until now the site has gathered 228,000 votes in favor of Phil. That is just a few thousand short of its goal of 250,000 votes in favor of the star. It seems that tolerance includes the right to not be tolerant. That is like saying you have the choice not to choose, which does make sense when you like at it from an unbiased angle.
