She won again at the L.A. Film Critics Awards. And at the end of this year, Lawrence, 23, was also named one of Barbara Walters' "10 Most Fascinating People of 2013." She shines like a true star during the whole pastyear. 2013 definitely belongs to Lawrence. No doubt about that. And she is a popular pick on year-end best-of lists.
NBC Today states, "It's hard to root against Lawrence, 23, as we head into the new year and another round of Golden Globes and Oscars and more. Her refreshingly frank demeanor throughout last year's trophyseason has us hoping we get to watch her stumble up to the stage more than once in 2014."
Lawrence said some special words on Walters in her Dec. 18 TV special that areworth listening. She said, "If we're regulating cigarettes and sex and cuss words because of the effect they have on our younger generation, why aren't we regulating things like calling people 'fat'?"
Just a few years before her star-making turn in Winter's Bone, Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence cameoed alongside Community's Allison Brie in an unaired Comedy Central pilot -- more specifically, in a sketch called "Muffy the Vampire Slayer" -- where Brie parodies Sarah Michelle Gellar's Buffy Summers.

When I first saw a trailer for "The Giver" earlier this summer, I thought it looked like "Equilibrium" for the "Hunger Games" set.
