Winter Storm Ion May Prove Disastrous

It is freezing cold in many areas. This winter has really hit the global climate in a hard manner. Winter storm Ion is going to influence weather conditions in the Midwest and later it will spread to the east and the south too. A major portion of the United States lies in its path.

The snow and winds are predicted to be really extreme in their nature. Blizzards and snow collecting in driveways and roads may make driving or even going out a health hazard. Visibility conditions are poor too. The weather stations have started issuing warning that must be paid heed to if the people are to remain safe and secure.

As for the snow, it has accumulated in some regions till it is 12 inches thick. In fact, an association could be made to the arctic cold. It is simply unbearable. And the cold reaches your bones and chills you completely. That is why individuals are being given the advice to wear appropriate clothes and stay at home.

The NFL game too took place amidst record levels of wintry snowfall. With mankind polluting the earth like there is no tomorrow, such things are bound to happen. Especially when you interfere with the balance of Mother Nature she is bound to fight back with such natural disasters.
