There are only a few automotive suppliers available in the market who can deliver the most extensive portfolio which is needed for tomorrow’s automated vehicles; and Delphi Automotive PLC is one of them.

They are going to showcase some highly integrated active safety and the connectivity technologies at the nearby 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). These innovative technologies are going to be the key building blocks to achieving the fully automated driving system.

The main fact is, this automated driving is happening right now and it is going to continue to expand in the capabilities and the mainstream use in the very near future. Mr. Jeff Owens, who is the chief technology officer of the Delphi Automotive, said that their frequent ability to produce some innovations in the three areas which are really critical to the automated driving experience are connected products, the active safety products and the electrical architecture; which sets them apart from the other suppliers. Also, this is the new frontier in the whole automobile industry worldwide; and they’re uniquely positioned to lead the whole way.

Delphi is going to exhibit some advanced technologies from each of these following areas at the CES including: The anticipated automated driving products such as the 360 degree sensing, the radar and the vision fusion technology. The cross traffic alert, smart collision avoidance and some many other accident mitigation safety features are going to be projected there.
