Old Spice Mom Ad should be a Super Bowl 2014 Ad

Old Spice managed to land another viral ad with the Mom Song. Some find the ad creepy, but it is definitely hilarious and would have what it takes to be a Super Bowl Ad.

Old Spice Mom Ad should be a Super Bowl 2014 Ad

The Super Bowl 2014 is around the corner and Super Bowl commercials are soon to dominate the social networks again. One of the most successful brands in social media history is Old Spice. A couple days ago the brand released a new ad for Old Spice Re-Fresh Body Spray that is viral now with close to 3m views on Youtube. The Old Spice Mom Song ad shows creepy moms singing about their sons growing up and have relations with girls. The ad is creepy funny as it shows moms pop up everywhere close to their sons. Some moms move like they are straight out of a horror movie.

This new Old Spice Ad could easily rank top in the upcoming Super Bowl, but there is no indication that Old Spice is going to advertise during the Super Bowl. They do not need to spend the $4 million for 30s, they got the full attention of the internet. Watch new Old Spice Mom ad below.

Super Bowl 2014 will take place in New Jersey on February 2, 2014. The big game will be played in the Metlife stadium in East Rutherford. It will be the first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl. We will again bring you full coverage of the Super Bowl Ads in our Super Bowl Hub and on Super Bowl Ads for Geeks. Check out the complete list of Super Bowl 2014 Ads.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
