The device is basically a flying mount for the GoPro camera and has three propellers. The Pocket Drone is controlled by an Android device using a USB connection. The flying camera can follow a predetermined Google Earth route.
The coolest feature of the camera though is that it is able to follow the GPS-enables Android phone or tablet. The Pocket Drone is also said to be upgradable in the future to support live video streaming to the portable device. That would allow you to control the drone and see where it is using the video.
Flight time with a GoPro attached is said to be 20 minutes. The kit is on Kickstarter now with a ready to fly unit needing only the GoPro and Android device selling for $495. That seems a bit costly to me.
