The best television drama series that won a Golden Globe award was Breaking Bad. Meanwhile, 12 Years a Slave grabbed an award too for being the best movie drama.
The faces and figures at the Golden Globe Awards were a motley bunch. Two of the most prominent winners were the Breaking Bad cast as well as 12 Years a Slave. The former depicts a chemistry expert who takes to making drugs in his lab. The stars and starlets that adorned the stage made some major blunders. Swear words, babbling and crying were just some of the odd things that took place at the thrilling event.

Bryan Cranston got double the luck with two awards: one for best actor and the other one for the role he played in Breaking Bad. Meanwhile, normality was a scarce commodity at the event. The director of 12 Years a Slave requested a fellow thespian again and again to pinch him. He couldn’t believe his ears that he had struck gold.
The happening event was a success on the whole although it had its quota of awkward moments. Some of the stars acted in a very offbeat manner thereby provoking other tongues to wag. There was Jennifer Lawrence with her spontaneous and somewhat nervous behavior. Then the famous Jacqueline Bisset began her boring speech on life and everything in it.
The men of Breaking Bad acted more responsibly though and didn’t lose their composure. The performing arts have their share of cranks and off-the-wall people. In fact, their genius as stars is often due to their idiosyncratic temperament.
