Toyota again becomes the world's biggest automaker by selling a record number (9.98 million) of vehicles last year. And the Toyota Prius comes out on top of the list of highly desirable cars. Toyota Prius offers the best in value at a reasonable price tag of $29,230.

Toyota beats its rivals General Motors and Volkswagen again to maintain its title of world's biggest automaker. Toyota today reports highest-ever annual sales volume. The Japanese auto giant sold 9.98 million vehicles last year. Toyota's rival, US-based GM, sold 9.71 million cars last year. And the other German rival Volkswagen sold 9.5 million vehicles last year.

As far as durability, reliability and performance are concerned, the Toyota Prius is the best bargain a man can strike with an auto dealer. The Toyota Prius offers the best mileage in the form of a cost price amounting to merely 47 cents per mile. The Honda Fit had held the #1 position for the past four years but last year the Toyota Prius gained ground and therefore surpassed it to reach the topmost spot.

The fuel economy of this car is superb. And it is a bargain worth its weight in gold. Although not exactly an inexpensive car, it gives you the coolest driving experience that money can buy

The Toyota Lexus too ranked among the top three slots in the list of best cars. And Subaru and Mazda also happened to be high-ranking vehicles in the roster of the means of transportation. Over 200 cars were gauged by the Consumer Reports and the results speak for themselves.
