Even as the tech. giant Samsung Inc. started the Android 4.4.2 KitKat treatment for their third generation Galaxy Note devices, some rumors are doing the rounds that the latest software update is coming for the company's next flagship smart phones.
By referring to the latest update for the 2013 flagship models, the Samsung has recently rolled out the Android 4.4.2 with some of the base firmware N9005XXUENA6 for the special LTE variant of the Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) device.
Meanwhile, a couple of Android 4.4.2 KitKat test builds have leaked online for the Galaxy S4 device, indicating that the Samsung Inc. has already started testing the update for the Galaxy S4 device. An online based news blog, named Sammobile, has claimed that the Samsung Inc. is expected to release the Android KitKat version for the Galaxy S4 device sometime between February and March.
So far, there is no official word yet on the Android KitKat update for the company's 2012 flagship devices such as the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note 2 devices. According to the Android Geeks website which managed to obtain some of the information from an unnamed Samsung software engineer, the highly anticipated version of Android version 4.4.2 update for the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note 2 devices will be released sometime in the late Q1 2014; which is by the end of March. And the update is going to start soon after the KitKat rollout for the Galaxy S4 device.
