In store date tipped to be February 7
Rumors are circulating that Sony is set to unveil a new version of its portable console called the PS Vita Slim. The new version of the console will presumably be thinner than the correct version of the portable device. Sales of that original version of the PS Vita haven't been that strong.

Things picked up a bit for the console late last year thanks to the PS4 remote play function and a price cut. With the lower price being one of the things that helped the original console take off again, surprisingly the new Slim is tipped to have a rather big price tag.
The Vita Slim is said to sell for £189 with a game included. It's not clear what game will be included with the system. The PS Vita Slim was leaked when a screen shot of a ShopTo flyer showing the console leaked earlier this week according to VG247. The official in store date for the Vita slim is supposed to be February 7.
The new console will sell for around $300. It's unclear if it will have more performance or other changes to make it appealing to buyers or if it's just slimmed down compared to the original.
