Microsoft 128GB Surface Pro at Best Buy for $499.99

If you like the idea of a tablet running the Windows operating system and have been holding off until prices come down, it might be the time to buy. Best Buy has the original Microsoft Surface Pro at a killer price. The 128GB version of the tablet originally launched at nearly $1000.

Best Buy has new version of that tablet on sale right now for $499.99. The normal price at Best Buy is $899.99. The special sale price makes a brand new 128GB Surface Pro cheaper than refurbished units on the market.

The tablet doesn't offer the performance of its newer sibling, but it has decent specs. The tablet has a 10.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It uses a VaporMg case that is strong and light. The tablet supports pen input and has integrated WiFi. 128GB of storage space is quite a bit of storage, the machine also has a memory card slot for expansion.

Other features of the tablet include Bluetooth 4.0 and an integrated kickstand. You don’t get the keyboard cover accessory at this price. It’s unclear how long this deal will last so you better get one while you can.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
