Volkswagen just released a new commercial titled So Close that is pretty funny and is in context of the Volkswagen Super Bowl 2014 Ad.

The Volkswagen Super Bowl 2014 Ad titled Wings got off to a slow start when it was released a couple days ago. Now hours before the Super Bowl the commercial got a respectable 9.3 million views on Youtube. This is far behind the Budweiser Puppy Love Ad, but more views than most other ads.

In the 2014 Volkswagen Super Bowl ad a father tells his daughter that every time a Volkswagen hits 100,000 miles, a German Engineer gets his wings. The 60 second commercial then shows how engineers grow wings and the funny things that happen if you indeed grow wings.

Today Volkswagen released a new ad that shows a guy driving back and forth in his garage to hit the 100,000 miles. This ad is pretty funny. Watch both Volkswagen commercials below.

Super Bowl 2014 will take place in New Jersey on February 2. The big game will be played in the Metlife stadium in East Rutherford. It will be the first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl. The Broncos will take on the Seahawks. We are bringing you again full coverage of the Super Bowl Ads in our Super Bowl Hub and on Super Bowl Ads for Geeks.
