An LTE version is coming out for the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 and is going to have a model number of SM-G7105. The last digit ‘5’ denotes that the model is an LTE version since apparently all the LTE versions end with 5. The Galaxy Grand 2 was announced late last year and we already have an LTE version coming up.
The Grand 2 is also going to have a dual SIM G7102 version but this will only be a 3G device. Though there has been no news about the device being official or not, but looks like things are going to be on track since the user manual and SAR information is already available on the official Samsung website. G7105 and G7105L are the two devices which return with the SAR search tool but G7105L model has not been tested as yet and we are already assuming that this L version would be a carrier specific version most probably. Nothing has been given away as far as the chipset is concerned which is quite an important component for phones.
The specs in the user manual have nothing new and they all seem to be the same but we are quite sure that the chipset has been changed. But unfortunately little can be said about it with no information provided on the site and we will just have to wait till the official list of specs is announced.
